Our Benefit Plans have been designed to provide you with a package that is both comprehensive and responsive to the needs of you and your family. Your benefits begin on the 1st of the month following a 30 day waiting period.
Our comprehensive PPO plan with United Health Care (UHC) allows you to receive services from both In- Network and Non-Network Providers with greatest savings if you see an In-Network Provider. Plan features a $1,000 deductible for individual, $3,000 for family. Choose from three coverage levels to fit your needs. Full-time employees are eligible.
Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
Allows you to set aside money to cover health care and dependent care out-of-pocket expenses. Dollars set aside are tax free – you pay no taxes when you contribute, or withdraw. Full-time employees are eligible.
Choose from two plans with Delta Dental:
- PPO Plan allows you to visit any licensed dentist with greatest savings if you see an In-Network provider. This plan provides diagnostic, preventative care and basic services covered at 100% and not subject to the deductible.
- Patient Direct Plan provides you a discount with the providers that participate in the network. Full and part-time employees are eligible.
Our voluntary plan with EyeMed offers access to a wide range of providers in your area. Benefits include eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, and contact lens care. Full and part-time employees are eligible.
Care24 Services (enrollment in medical plan required)
- Nurse Line: Registered nurses are on standby 24/7 to answer questions, assist with scheduling medical appointments, review treatment options and provide preventative care information.
- Employee Assistance Program: Provides, at no cost to the employee, confidential assessments, face-to- face therapy and phone counseling for those everyday challenges and even more serious issues.
Retirement Savings – 401(k) Plan
Employees are automatically enrolled to contribute 3% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to our basic 401(k) plan after 30 days of employment, with the option to opt out or increase their contribution at any time. Our Roth 401(k) option is available to employees who wish to contribute through after tax payroll deductions. After one year of employment, AA Colorado will match 50% of the first 6% of eligible salary that you contribute to the plan.
Short & Long Term Disability
Voluntary plans are offered to replace a portion of your income if you are unable to work because of an injury or illness that occurs off the job. Full and part-time employees are eligible.
Life Insurance/Accidental Death &Dismemberment (AD&D)
AAA Colorado provides full-time employees with $20,000 of Life/AD&D insurance coverage at no cost. AD&D provides coverage in case of accidental death or loss of limb or eyesight. Employees can elect to purchase additional coverage at the group rate. Full-time employees are eligible.
Aflac Supplemental Plans
A wide variety of supplemental lines of coverage are offered to help pay out of pocket medical expenses, the rent or mortgage, groceries or utility bills if you become sick or injured from a qualifying accident or illness occurs.
Eligible employees receive six company paid holidays and four floating holidays per year.
Paid Time Off
Full-time employees receive 2 weeks of paid vacation after their first year. Part-time employees receive 1 week of vacation after their first year. Employees earn additional time off within their first year and throughout employment in the form of Personal Paid time and Sick pay.
Complimentary AAA Membership
AAA Colorado employees receive a complimentary Premier AAA membership at time of hire. Full and part-time employees are eligible.
